I've recently trashed my Cagiva Gran Canyon and have been considering a CapoNord. A few mag reviews have complained about the front end as it affects handling and stability. Let's hear from some actual owners regarding this. BTW, I also own a Falco, and used my Cagiva on track days as well as city streets and some trails, so the 'Nord is not just for touring. Thanks for some real-world advice in advance.

I've test ridden a CapoNord a few times in the last couple of months and have found nothing wrong with the handling at all. Handles great for a trailie. I kept up with a few guys on RSVs at the Aprilia RSV demo day - handles great!
I also own a Falco. The C'Nord is a great bike!

I've done 5k miles on a Capo during the winter. Its the best handling bike I've ridden and its got great performance - love it to bits.
Only doubt are the Turance tyres, I've had a few slides

I traded in a Honda Blackbird for the Caponord. Too many speed cameras around here putting my licence in severe danger. Tennis elbow developing last summer also made riding the 'Bird a genuine pain!
I've not run the bike in totally yet but have ground out both hero blobs so have no real complaints about the handling. I'll second the doubt about the tyres, having had a rear end slide in dry conditions - just a little warning but it's made me a bit wary...
Only possible criticism was the odd effect two up last weekend. Very windy, which may have been the reason, but I did notice that my head was subject to an odd side to side resonance rather reminsiscent of the infamous "Divie Weave". Hope this isn't going to happen in normal conditions.
Regards
Graham

I've been up and down the M40 with severe side winds this winter and have had no problem weaving the gusts, didn't notice my head vibrating either;)
I'm impressed that you've ground down the hero blobs already, guess thats why the Capo has got the better of most round the bends.
