Anyone used a tank pad to prevent the tail section scratching when you throw your leg over it?

I've got a spare Aprilia Racing one and reckoned on putting it on the rear.

No... but Ive used clear polyurethane tape on the rear panels to prevent chaffing. Oooh! Nice and Invisible!
