Hi guys as I work offshore and my pride and joys sits in the garage (no power) for several weeks at a time and the imobiliser drains the bloody battery in no time , I ssem to recall seeeing a solar battery charger some where , any idea where I could obtain one a.nd has any body any experience of these or anything similar

I use a charger too , the alarm drians it quite rapidly. Dont know the brand but its the most common one.
Ive got one of the first Falco's (jan 2000) but still the first battery , needing a new one in a short while although.

Should work. Many alarms claim to draw less than 5 mah where as a small solar panel can put out 100 to 150 mah. Have a look at www.solar-batterycharger.co.uk
