Just wondering if it would be ok to put a renegade airkit on my Falco before I add pipes and mod chip. I came across a used airkit, so I picked it up. I don't have the funds for pipes quite yet.

thanks!

It will still work wonders to the midrange, but it will be in stealth mode, as the std pipes are very quiet.

It works well and sounds great even without naughty cans.

SCB - Go ahead and do it! It'll help the bike in the mids, as XDN pointed out, and we think you'll like the induction roar!

Don't forget the hooligan 15-tooth sprocket to go with!

I got a K&N crankcase breather filter (3/8") that has a screw fitting in it's top, drilled a small hole in the bottom of the airkit and bolted the filter on. Cut the OEM breather line to fit with a razor knife and secure it to the filter with one of those small screwdriver-driven bands. It spits out a little oil now and again, but it's all tucked up under the tank so none of it gets on any bodywork. Should take you 15 minutes.

Scott, got a pic?

Oh yeah, I'm going the 15t sprocket at the same time. I already have the sprocket, just waiting on the airkit.

Not offhand, but there's a nice spot right next to your rearmost throttle body.

CRMC, you have outdone yourself this time!
You obviously have too much time on your hands.
