Noisy camchain

My falco has suddenly developed a bit of a clatter from the rear cylinder, thought it was the valve clearances but they are OK, noticed the cam chain tensioner on the rear cylinder could easily be pushed back, the front one is solid.
Removed the hydraulic plunger from tensioner and it can be easily compressed. I've ordered a new one which will cost about £40. Hope this sorts it out.
Anyone else had same problem?
