I went to an Italian Bikes meeting during TT. I was the only Aprilia rider ther, the rest were all Ducatis and Guzzis. Felt a bit of an imposter really as nobody really seemed to consider the the Aprilia an "Italian" bike. I didn't feel I was a part of their scene. Must have something to do with the fact that it doesn't break down regularly or suffer particularly badly with poor build quality. I think it is battling against these factors that binds the Ducati and Guzzi riders together, not necessarily the fact that the bikes were made in the same country.
BTW, not in the UK - Isle of Man.

Commute every day to central London so the bike's general home is either on the M40 or M4 & in a nice steel shuttered garage near Paddington Station!

How about a UK Falco meet???
We all ride in all weathers, thats the Falco way so way not have a winter meet and rideout?
Somewhere central, somewhere easy for us all to meet, somewhere with interesting roads to ride.
How about just north of Nottingham and we'll try out the infamous Lincolnshire roads.

It is indeed I the former owner of the aforementioned Japanese 4 cylindered monstrosity, which I loved dearly, and current owner of it's remains However, having seen the error of my ways and a rather charming and loud yellow Falco at the NW200 last year I have all the relevant credentials and pissed off neighbours I now require to validate my posting on here.
I suspect you hang around multi storey car parks on a Saturday morning, triggering car alarms on each level for sport
Am I right??

Nickp, so close it hardly counts!, anyway will definitely be in touch for a blast, Mines stripped down at pres for the add on bits (Pifkee belly pan,RSC cans etc being fitted) If you have pipes fitted as well, we'll wake the dead!
Look forward to 2003. I don't do rain!

Hey V60tcs, if you're ever going to break down, and it will happen in a Jag, at least you're doing it in one of the "prettiest" cars around!
|By Steveb on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 - 02:38 pm:|
Wakefield, West Yorkshire. I work in York and there's a black Falco in the next series of office buildings - he/she ignores me completely!
I have a lot of time for the blind, good on him/her for choosing a falco

|By V60tcs on Thursday, November 21, 2002 - 11:38 am:|
You obvisually haven't seen my Jag, it like all my cars is rather old, but it is different, as for breaking down, well if it happens i am fortunate enough to be able to fix it (fuel injection wasn't around in 1964) Before anyone starts having a go it is not concourse, it is old hasn't been restored but has had a paint job (candy red)

West Dulwich, Laandan.
I commute and work at Cannon St (Nr London Br), someone keeps parking a really clean red falco just like mine in suffolk lane making me feel guilty of neglect.
Is that one of you lot? It was there this morning.
If no-one admits to it I'm gonna throw dirty water over it each morning.
