Considering buying a damaged repairable rsvr (2002) to convert into tuono r type thing (after having falco stolen) possible? what do you think?

yep it should be possible, biggest problem would be the bars as there fixed to the top yoke (unlike the clip on's on a mille) so you'd probably have to by a new one or have one machined, a new headlamp set up is required but pretty much the rest is as per the regular mille apart from the frame colour. best of luck

p.s beware of the headstock on a crash damaged bike very easily damaged in any type frontal accident, usually requiring a new frame

Yes,it's possible.I've got a 2000 mille-MFW do a top yoke conversion(£160-ish).You need to rre-route the throttle and cold start cables, and fit longer brake and clutch lines.M+P sell the top yokes.
You can keep the standard fairing and headlight unit, but you'll have to trim the fairing above the top mounts(where the mirrors bolt on),and lose the standard mirrors.
I'm using the bike without a top fairing while I wait for Vimori to send a race top fairing,to which I'll fit a cute projector light,or similar.
