Can i just say what great weather we are having in the UK/London....makes yer proud doesnt it(?).....anyway......I have just bought some gorgeous new Motrax top blocks, the lower fittng variety for the 2000 RSV Mille. Now...the bolt that is in the frame......what is it???? what does it do?...the manual does not state anything and also do i need a special tool to remove it or is it a simple 1/2 inch socket job.......has anyone fitted these top blocks (from what i can tell i have gone against the grain slightly from those on this site as R&G seem to be a fave)....and is there anything i have to do extra special??????? cheers

Actually there are two bolts with nuts to be removed one either side. Look behind the rear shock at the back of the engine casing you can see the nuts, you can get a standard ring on them, its a 5 min job to fit the blocks then you spend the forseeable future banging your shins on them.

I use the as foot rests for those long highway trips!

I have the same crash protectors installed on my '02 Mille. My dealer fitted them so I can't help you there. They tend to get in the way once in a while (at traffic lights and when trying to put the bike on the side standard and so, but a bike isn't made for standing is it?). I'll try that foot rest tip out when I'm going to the Nordschleife this weekend...

Powermaster! Another Belgian! Oh dear god no!
Baco, make sure you got plenty of fuel on the track.
Cool site btw.
Best answer this question right here, right now:
what do you put on your french fries?
as if it would be anything else than mayo...

Something wrong with Belgians? With some, I know ;-) Regarding the fuel, I'll keep my eyes open. No problems with credit cards and fuel pumps in Germany, I've been there several times already. I don't trust the fuel light on the Mille anymore it goes on when there's about 8l left (shouldn' that be 4l), anyway it scares the hell out of me
And the answer to the french fries question is... tartare! You might wonder what that is, well, it looks like mayo but with added spices. Be sure to try it out when you're ever in Belgium, that is if you can find our tiny country ...

Oooh ! fitted the lowers. Very nice. Where's my race fairing ? I want to whack my uppers on and take the bike to Rockingham to test my new found hanging off the bike technique. I've even bought new boots to aid my leaning.
