Can any of you boy's & Girls out there help me out? I need to know what/why "DIAG 1" has appeared a couple of times on the right display on my bike. I've scanned the manual and phoned my local dealer but nobody seems to know.

It sounds like your electrix are flicking into diag mode. There is a pair of wires under your seat near the ECU box which have a white connector. These should be disconnected in normal use.

Maybe theres another problem if these arent connected or touching.

Took a peak under the seat but there seem to be a few pairs of wires with white connectors, all are connected. The local dealer is an arse, he wouldent do a service on the bike because I didn't buy it from him.
