Does anyone know if the Carbon will last as long as the Titanium for the Duel Hi Mounts?

Scott:

It really depends on the quality of carbon used and how the exhaust is constructed. V-Twins are hard on exhausts with the powerful pulses that they produce. I cannot answer for other brands but Renegade's do come with a lifetime warranty. Really all that is needed to make your exhaust last longer is to be sure to repack the cans every 5,000 miles. This is easy to do and not very expensive.

You may also notice Renegade does not offer the single race can in carbon for the Mille. That is because with just one exhaust outlet the pulses are too much for carbon.

I have had carbon on my mille and also on my Duc prior to the Mille and it held up fine. Get the one you prefer...

Best regards
Jim

It's a fine line.

Jim's speaking from his own exerience - as opposed to a reciting a practised sales pitch, so we'll let him off with a virtual nose-tweaking ...

Sliding down the road, the titanium will last longer and give a nice spark effect at the same time. Go for the titanium.
