parked bike on a very slight camber, on tarmac on a hot and windy day. Sidestand sunk into the tarmac increasing angle of no return, heavy wind then blow bike over. Broken ind,s and sracthed mirror,fairing. HOPE by posting this no one else will have the same .
does anyone know of a good place for touch up paint aprilia don,t do them.

Sorry to hear about the fall over.

For paints I use a place called Jawel paints in Slade Road, Erdington, Birmingham who supply the car repair trade and can mix paints to match any colour. Just take them a body panel or other sample with the colour required. There must be lots of similar places around the country. Just take a look in the yellow pages, or check out

Got a taste of the dread side stand failing meself parked up by the roadside after the front brakes fell off. Spent an hour kicking my heels & thought blimey the camber's getting awfully steep here - it was the stand slowly sinking into the tarmac.

If it doesn't fall the other way when it gets its first rear puncture, try dropping it on the right side for that authentic Streetfighter look. Beats laying out £13K on the Tuono R don't it?
