Dear all

This will come as a shock to those of you who know me well, but I have made the monumental decision to take a complete year off.

There are a number of reasons, but the major contributor to my decision has
been my involvement with a guerrilla group in Spain, who are fighting for
freedom and justice against unbelievable odds. I have been communicating
with this group for several months, and now finally will join them.

I know most of you will think I am totally crazy but I have not made this
decision lightly. Nothing you can say or do will stop me doing what I
truly believe in. I hope to see you again when the battle is won.....

See you in 12 months.

In other news that I didn't want to post about til now......My company has just had a fairly large round of redundancies (weds this week) but luckily I have been spared.. unfortunately some of my friends/colleagues haven't

Thanks the thread is a little more work safe now... I of course had no problem with the pic but there are others that do here.. like HR..

This was the fourth round of redundancies and the biggest so far.. majority of staff going from the states offices this time.

So what 'are' you doing then?

4th round!! Not good. IT, huh, who'd want to work in it these days.

I'm not doing anything! I'm trying to get a job, honest but you know what recruitment agencies are like!! I'm hoping to go freelance ( http://www.hypertrophia.co.uk/ ) but in the mean time the job hunting goes on. I might have a 6 month contract with AT&T which would be nice - I've worked for them in the past which gives me a good chance of getting the job.... fingers crossed...
