The Powermaster suprised the heck out of me!

Aprilia RiderSite (Riders Site) - The independent & international community website for Aprilia motorcycle riders with chat, discussion forums and much more: General Aprilia Chat: The Powermaster suprised the heck out of me!

I was new to the board (And Aprilia) just 2 weeks ago and have read the "conversations" with interest. So I ended up posting a question or two hoping to get some answers (which I did).

However what suprised the heck out of me was receiving a call from Jorge "The Powermaster", who proceeded to answer a truckload of my questions personally on a lenghy 51 minute phone call.

Whats more, I'm based in New Zealand which (For those of you who are geographically challenged) is the other side of the world. This kind of customer service is pretty damn impressive, and I wasnt even a customer yet. I then met up with a fellow Aprilia rider (from Australia) whom I met on this site (ExDukeNut) for a beer of three to talk bikes. And it turns out he'd already purchased from Jorge and Renegade and received his pipes and airkit in Australia. He'd had some challanges with fitting and said Jorge was on the phone immediately to make sure it was sorted out.

So I supose what I'm saying is "I'm impressed" and think that if any of you are considering buying from Renegade, but were possibly concerned that you may not get good service for warrenty issues etc because you live out of the UK, then don't be concerned. From what I can see their 'after sales' service is bloody great and is as good as their 'before sales' service.

So dont hesitate to deal with them. And NO, I dont know Jorge or anyone else at Renegade. I just think that good service deserves to be reccognised for a change

I wonder: does the term "Powermaster" have to do with the ability to find power in bikes or with the power to shut people up while he's talking?

It's my theory, and not fully developed yet, mind you, that Tomoko built Jorge from scrapped IBMs and KTMs and that she controls him with some kind of virtual glove kit!

Tomoko is an evil genius and Jorge is her robot slave. Together they will take over the Earth

You little bastids, a guy goes away for a few days and backstabbing starts

It was good to get a little rest and do some riding without having to look behind for Mr.Plod.

The weather could not be better but with 50.000 bikes around, extra care was needed. I have been in Portugal and as coincidence the Faro Rally was on

I was ordered to return by the SlaveMistress, as today is our 25th wedding anniversary and she promissed me some crumpet

Aaah. An explanation at last.

Actually Jorge may have the female "chatty" genes, the "other" side of his brain is definately much more active than us "normal" peeps

Rumor has it that Tomoko went deaf sometime during the first 3 years of their marrage.... Apparently the following 22 years were bliss

You have talked to Jorge then.

Btw, 25 years? That can't be right. Did you marry Tomo when she was 10 years old or what?
