Shock Strip ??????

Have come to the conclusion that due to my emence bulk (235 lbs)it would probably help to fit a stronger spring on the Rear Shock doe's anybody know if the standard Shock on a 2001 mille (not R) can be stripped,or have you any advise on an alternative shock I was thinking Maxton but wondered if any of you Guys had any pearls of Wisdom before I commit myself.

You could try revs racing. Ive had a couple of shocks done by them and they do a good job at a good price.
