People, I want to prove a point about some horrid things that have been said on other sites regarding Renegade's full system being "lower than stock" !! Bollox !

But more than having a slanging match and a "my system is better than yours" argument I have decided on a fact finding day.

What I want to do is collate as much information as possible on the Mille's accessories, exhausts, airboxes, chips etc. I want to do same dyno - same day - same operator back to back tests and post the results as a base to work from.

I will be donating my 2001 RSVR for the day. I will also be paying for the dyno runs (putting my money where my mouth is) !!
Either PDQ or another place that Diablo Mille R is trying to sort are the suggested dyno operators.

Parts donated so far:
Rene twin level slip ons
Rene airbox kit
Rene chip
standard chip
Raceco slip on
Standard airbox
RSC Ti can and chip

I am looking for lots of cans to be dynoed. Do not be afraid. Come along and donate a part, see it tested then take it with you.

The more that get involved the more comprehensive the results.

An exact date has not been selected but it WILL be on a saturday at least 1 month from now (previous commitments).

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Mr Venjer (I just found the j on my keyboard)

I'd really like to be there too. I'm a falconeer but the story's the same. Any other falcos want to do this and get the full picture?

Btw where is this happening?

- Rich

Thanks boys. I first suggested PDQ in Maidenhead but Diablo Mille R (Rich) has suggested another, west of London that Screech or Singlesman uses. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. This will take most of the day and lots of dyno runs, if we can get a deal on multiple dyno runs that would help my pocket

whatever Dyno you use make sure it has a Fan the size of a very large thing.

I don't know much about Dynos, but it occurs to me that a dyno should replicate 'the road' as far as possible.

Therefore if it doesn't have a fan to replicate the normal through current you'd normally get ... it's going to be a bit crap.

Isn't it?

Kev, you're more than welcome to test my Arrow slip on, minus chip I'm afraid because I fooked my standard one when fitting the Arrow, but it's designed to work with the OEM chip anyway.

Let me know if you want it sent anywhere and I'll stick it in the post. (I live in Scotland, so won't be attending).

If you were to wait a month or two, then I'd bring down the Tigcrafts that I'll be ordering soon (fecking insurance claims!!!).

How about Angelo supplying a system to be tested??

Thanks boys. Fair enough Taff.

Any ideas on when and where ? I am going to Amsterdam on the 26th July so any saturday after that is good with me.

I have not seen anything from Rich about the alternative dyno tester so PDQ is looking the most likely still.

Sorry Kev, baby arrived 4th July, totally snowed under hence i've been very quiet on the net groups and email. I still have not found out the name of the place. Have you checked MCN Bikemart, I think they have a dyno shop listings section. PDQ are damn good but one of the most expensive places!

Later,

DMR Heres a Top Tip....
A cherry stone cushion heated in the microwave for 30 seconds gives instant relief for your baby's trapped wind.
My son Luke was born in March and came home on the Sunday of the first WSB round. My Sperm must have expert timing...he's not missed a round yet!

Many congrats.

For the record I managed 151mph last weekend in Holland. I am not amused !!

Maybe this is a job for trading standards. I mean, if 9stone fukkers are the only ones who can get 150 plus then I want to know what 15stone fukkers are meant to do.

Rich, thanks for the info, I'll call them this week. How is the bebe ?

Ciao

Hi MrV,

Bebe is doing bebe stuff, IE crying, feeding (where do they put it all?) pushing it all out the other end anon....

151 is better, but still low I think. Maybe this dyno shootout will show something up, my bike pulls 150+ with no problems, even from a top gear roll on from 40mph and I'm certainly no 9st jockey

Keep us informed....

Mr_Venjer
I managed 165 with bagalux on the back in france and 17t front sprocket it would not go any faster tried a dozen times, 6th seems like an overdrive and goes no where near the red bit, might be faster with the 16t as ime sure it will pull top gear to the red.
You do need a very long stretch of road thou.
